You definitely need to read the Chronocentric article "Tell Me About My Omega" in the OMEGA section.

But I can tell you that that is clearly NOT the original Omega band. No Omega parts ever have "Made in Japan" on them!

That watch was probably originally bought on a leather strap. Later, when the strap wore out, someone replaced it with a generic flexible watchband from a drug or jewelry store. So none of the information on the band is in any way relevant to your Omega watch!

Value depends a lot on condition and which specific model within the Seamaster DeVille line it is (there were many) and exactly which year it was made. If it is in good condition, it could be worth at least $200. One in completely restored and mint condition would likely max out at $500.
