I recently purchased two Omegas to celebrate our anniversary. I bought my wife a SMP 2583.80 from World Watches and myslf a SMP Chrono 2599.80 from Ashford. They both came in the cases and boxes with some papers and tags. I found the serial number on the Chrono but have failed to find the number on the ladies. Did they put a number on all of their watches from quartz to chronometer? Is the number on ladies found in a different area? If they removed it the did a good job, because I cannot find any sign. Any advice? I plan on having them engraved to commemorate our anniversary. Thank you for any help.
