Vintage Omega restauration. Is it worth?

Hi all,

My grand-father bought in 1913 a pocket watch Omega which is now in Bienne at Omega Restauration Service.

They have been very helpful and sent a detailed report which includes a restauration cost of about $1500.

Do you think it is worth the repairing and restauration?. The pocket watch itself has a strong emotional value to us, but $1500 is quite a lot of money and we don't know if it is worth doing it in an economic sense.
