Re: Which Seamaster Pro?
In Response To: Re: Which Seamaster Pro? ()

True, one may find the "Bond" model more interesting and perhaps more attractive, But I find the design of the current black bezel model far more practical when scuba diving. Especially the sword design, which allows you to see better in darker conditions. Needs some work on the stiffness of the bezel, though. Plus I find the "bond" model too much of a show-off watch, resembling those sold on a New York street corner. The black model looks more dignified.

: Personally I prefer the blue dial, blue bezel
: "Bond" model over the newer black
: dial version. I don't like the sword hands
: on the new model, I prefer the skeleton
: hands on the Bond model. I prefer the 12
: o'clock marker on the Bond model. I prefer
: the strap on the Bond model.

: I think the new black model is too plain - it
: doesn't strike me as being a particularly
: interesting or attractive watch. The Bond
: model, on the other hand, does look far more
: interesting - the blue colour is more
: interesting, the strap is more interesting,
: etc.
