: But the model numbers are necessary to clearly
: identify all the specific variations. It
: would confuse the crap out of customers and
: dealers if the same model number referred to
: similar watches with different features and
: different prices. How would anybody know
: what they are getting? How could you order
: replacement parts?

Well, if only the bracelet(?) is the difference between 2254 and 2954, then there wouldīt be necessary to give those two models different serialnumbers? (*IF* they are identical inside as outside!)
Virtually, I canīt notice any difference between the models. But I canīt ofcourse not be sure of the inner "features". But both are automatic with no chronograph.
