Omega represents top quality

they manufacture great watches that stand the test of time. That is not to say that they are all flawless. As Derek had pointed out earlier, every producer will produce flawed products. The one year Omega warranty basically states that any flaws in the watch will be fixed at Omega's expense and if the problem cannot be fixed, they will replace the entire watch. This is basically Omega's gaurantee that the consumer will purchase a good quality watch. The one year warranty rule is carried out by many other watchmakers. Omega has been known to have an excellent warranty coverage and after sales service.
