question about Omega seamaster bands

hello all
I have recently purchased a new Omega seamaster 300 meter with black dial and bezel with a ruber strap. I have been wanting to get the stainless steel one(speedmaster style) for my Omega seamaster. How do I get one? I tried my jewler but they said it is about $600 for the traditional seamaster band("bond style"). How much is the speedmaster type? And were can I order it?
