Actually they are. But you must realize that a question asked in a confused manner can confuse or frustrate those that are trying to help.

Your original question about your quartz watch was framed with you quoting a lot of irrelevant information regarding mechanical watches.

This made it sound like you were either very confused or were going off the deep end in looking for inane little problems with your watch.
