I recently purchased this SS date at 6 ca. 1954-55.
As you see in the scan, there is a magnifier lens over the date opening. I've never seen this on an early 50's Seamaster Calendar and wonder if anyone knows whether the cyclops lens could be original. My guess is that it is not, but I'd like to hear what some of you think. Crown, buckle, and back are all original.
