I have an Omega GMT automatic,with the ETA movement, as well as a wonderfully quirky Valjoux 7751 moonphase chronograph. The Valjoux is famous for it's heavy rotor, rumbling and wobbling away, but the ETA/Omega rotor is very quiet. The GMT is so well insulated, I can barely hear the rotor, or the escape! In other words, don't worry, be happy!
