: I own a Seamaster Pro and Rolex sub and GMT. You're right abot the Omega costing significantly less up front. I think the Seamaster is an awwesome watch for the price. But to be honest with you, I never wear it anymore. It doesn't compete w/ the Rollies. I never get tired of looking at my wrist for the time. And all of my watches are dead on time-wise. The gentlemen that stated his was 2 minutes off/day needs to have it overhauled. Also, since I bought the Rollies right, I know I can just about get my money back were I to sell them, which I probably never will. The same can't be said for the Omega. I expect my grandsons to be wearing them someday. But I have no complaints w/ the Seamaster. It was well worth the money. Oh, and one other thing. A Rolex submariner is a beater? Nice try.
