That's exactly how quartz watches are *supposed* to operate--so nothing wrong there! That is only a sign of a fake if the watch is supposed to have a mechanical movement.

Not aware of this brand at all. Neither are they listed as a major brand at http://www.horology.com/ht-brand.html .
So likely it is merely an inexpensive brand of watch--of which there are *thousands* of in the world. Given that, there is little chance that anyone is going to know about this specifc brand to advise you about it.
I'd suggest you post this question on the Public Forum at timezone.com--that is the largest and broadest read watch discussion group. Maybe someone there has encountered this brand before.
