I shipped my watch by UPS ($56.00) to the OMEGA CH service center on July 24, to be checked out and regulated under warranty. They received it on July 30. Got e-mail acknowlegement from the service center on August 10. They say it will be shipped by September 25, by the postal service.
If you send a watch to Switzerland from the U.S.A. for work, there is a prudent extra step to facilitate its return of getting a U.S. Customs exemption. Other than the time, this is free.
Will keep the Forum posted on how OMEGA CH does. I used OMEGA U.S.A. Lancater, PA with my first SMP, which is why I now have a second SMP. Lancaster, PA won't be getting my watch again, unless there are major improvements in the quality of their service, or I just feel lucky!
