Re: SMP VS SUBMARINER
In Response To: SMP VS SUBMARINER ()

: I emailed this question in about three weeks
: ago. I'm so tempted to purchase the SMP
: black dial black bezel & sell my black
: on black rolex submariner. I can't afford
: both just one betwwen the two. I know the
: rolex is a more expensive watch but it's not
: about the price for me. A few of my friends
: told me I will regret selling the rolex over
: the Omega. Personally I think the new style
: SMP is a classic. The only problem I have is
: that Omega changes there models and upgrade
: the look too much. They can't stick to one
: style.
: Could you give me you feedback & opinions
: on this issue & any pro & cons of
: one or both watches. THANKS.
Why not do what I did, buy the America's Cup...it has the same beautifull black face but with an 18 k gold bezel with the ONLY raised numerals EVER put on an Omega bezel! It's a Limited Edition thats just about quaranteed to become more valuable over time than a mere mortal Rolex, and you're probably more assured than with any other model that it won't be reproduced in the future, because of it's Limited Edition stature...besides, you'll NEVER have to answer that age-old question that EVERY Rolex owner hears; "Gee is that a REAL Rolex?"
