I've got a similar tool that I use on ordinary bracelets but the SMP links are very tight and held in by tiny bushes.

Very easy to break off tool pin in bracelet also.
( I've done it myself!)

Rather than disfigure your new bracelet take it into an Omega dealer who will do it free.

It's unfortunate that there is no fine adjustment on these bracelets IMO.
