Omega USA - GMT Repair Woes!!

I purchased 2 GMTs at about the same time a while back. Gave one to my son and added the other to my small, but growing, Omega collection. To my dismay, the known GMT problem(s) cropped up on both watches... his first and now mine.

My son sent his back to Omega USA through my local "watch pusher" and almost two months later it came back and worked for a week. Now the watch is a paperweight again!!! We wonder if anything was done at all as the same symptoms are present (and possibly more), including the famous GMT "sticky" hour hand.

So, what do we do? I have yet to get mine repaired and warranty time is ticking away. My son's warranty has expired, but I think we have a case, since the repair has proven defective. I'm afraid I just don't trust Omega USA at this point.

Is there any way to get a quality repair from Omega USA, or should we just give up and seek alternatives? Can our dealer get the watches sent to the factory? What's involved?

TIA... Jim
