If so (and I can't imagine you having it for any period of time without noticing such things) it should simply be replaced by Omega thru the dealer. According to your post, Omega has already said that they will take care of the repairs, which means that they admit that it was their fault. If you wait 4-5 years, their memory may have conviently dimmed on the matter, Make them replace it now!
