Re: SMP bezel change
In Response To: Re: SMP bezel change ()

I have another bezel question: Is it possible to have a GMT-Zulu time bezel put on a SMP? I don't mean an Omega GMT bezel, which is numbered from 0 through 24, but a military-style bezel numbered 0 through 12. This type bezel makes keeping time in a second time zone a snap. To my knowledge, though, Omega does not offer such a bezel, and I wouldn't consider a non-Omega bezel (I hope the divers out there forgive my heresy in even considering replacing the diving bezel).

: Easy for a jeweler to do with the right tools.
: But definitely not something you can do
: yourself.

: This is a change that Omega will cooperate
: with, as you are not turning your watch into
: anything that they don't already sell as a
: similar model. You should be able to get an
: Omega dealer to do this for around $100--and
: you'll get to keep the old bezel should you
: wish to change back!
