: I have decided to get a new OMEGA seamaster
: professional but am unsure whether I should
: get a auto or quartz.
: Which one should I get?
Here is my personal experience.........
In 1975 I bought two watches, a Speedy 125 that I more or less wore continuously until last year and a Seiko Digital quartz. On the Speedy I have spent during that period in excess of $1,500 for service. On the Seiko the only service that it has had has been battery changes, total cost about $40. The quartz has been running continuously since then. If I were to buy today without hesitation it would be quartz.
