Speedmaster Pro prices

Hello all.

I'm from the UK but I'm in San Diego, California at the moment and have spent some time looking at Omegas over here. The watch I'm interested in is the Speedmaster Pro with the display back, which retails here at $3,095. I've been offered this watch from an authorised dealer for $2,350, which sounds to me like a good price. What I'd like to know is:
a.) The retail price for this watch in the UK. I think the Moonwatch with the metal back is listed at 1,395 sterling but I can't remember the price of the display back.
b.) Whether this sounds like a good deal for this country.

Any help and advice will be gratefully received.
