I have recently bought an Omega Constellation which I was told was made about 1980.
Omega have just advised me that the watch was made in 1968. Furthermore, it stopped this afternoon for no reason I could identify but started again when I wound the hands to reset the time.
I paid UK£350 for it and am assuming I paid too much for a watch of that age. My inclination is to take it back (with the evidence from Omega) and ask for my money back.
Any opinion or comment would be most appreciated before I take it back.
