No, there are no 1/4 links. Better slightly large than too tight, as your wrist may swell a bit on warm days.
You should NOT size the bracelet so that the watch stays in the same place on your wrist. That is too tight for a metal bracelet as it does not allow enough room for your arm to flex without straining against the rigid bracelet. This is very bad for your arm.
Better to get used to the watch sliding up and down your arm a little bit than to do long term damage to the tendons in your wrist!
