I have had my stainless steel Chrono divermodel:259980 for just over 2 months.
It has run very well and within certified parameters.
To day I was timing something that lasted 6 ˝ hours.
After it was over I stopped the chrono and pushed the rest button,
But nothing happened the hands did not fly back. It was just like Pushing the reset button when it was at zero. (No crunch sound.)
I started the chrono again and it ran fine.
So I stopped it and again it would not reset.
I then started it up and let it run about 15min. while I tried to decide what to do.
And one last time I stopped it and Pushed the rest button…it reset and now seems to work fine.
I know it needs to be looked at, but has any one ever heard of that from an omega SMPC ?
And if it is working fine now could I wait until it was time to service it?
I am devastated and hate to give it up.
I guess I am hoping someone will say “o' yea that happens sometimes.”
