I certainly agree. But I'd also like some way (like on Rolex bracelets which as I recall are adjustable in 3 half link steps without adding/removing links) to change the size without advanced tools, as you may swell more if you go to a warmer climate.

I think this has a lot to do with how your arm looks. I went around many years with a bracelet which didn't slide nor rotate because it was just the right size and it didn't impair motion in the least, so it can be done, and he may have been used to it too and expects the same from an Omega bracelet. But they are a bit different, possibly designed with slightly different use philosophies.
