By the way, there is no such thing as a '2001 model' of this watch--watch makers do not have model years of watches like automobile makers have of cars. That watch has been produced with no changes since 1993. So it is possible that the age of the watch is more than 1 year. You will be able to tell for certain when you have Omega look up the serial number as described in the "Tell Me About My Omega' article in the OMEGA section of this site.
