Another fact of note regarding SMP mid-size models is that the itsy-bitsy little fragment of a 3 o'clock marker on the full-size SMP disappears without a trace on the mid-size... no three o'clock! Because the date window is closer to the center of the face on the quartz version, you get to keep more of that chincy little 3 o'clock marker... not much, but just enough so that on the mid-size version, it still exists. It may seem petty, but I require a 3 o'clock marker... besides, I've got small wrists (four links sitting in the display box in the bedroom), but still like the look and feel of the larger watch.
