Omega Factory....

It is often said that there is no real Omega Watch Co.anymore, just the trade name that is applied to cases and movements that are supplied to S.M.H.

I received some correspondence from Omega the other day; on the back of the envelope was a return address in Bienne, the city where the old factory used to be.

I would like to think that some movement modification, case production, assembly or finishing still might go on in the old factory.

So does anyone know if Omega still uses the old factory or any part part of the old manufacturing complex? It would be great to know if the Omega watches of today have some kind of tie to the grand company of the past.
