Re: High End Quartz??
In Response To: Re: High End Quartz?? ()

: Well at one point in my life I would agree. Until, I saw and
: bought a new Omegamatic watch. This watch is a real beauty.
: I like the accuracy of the quartz, and the self charging
: system. Yes, the automatic movement is a work of art, but
: with the numerous fake high end watches having automatic
: movements I guess automatics are like kissing your brother
: (heheheheh). I think whenever you buy a high quality watch
: either quartz or automatic you are paying largley for the
: craftsmanship. Just my comments.....

I agree with the about statement, and futher more high end quartz movements tend to have extra fetures like temperature compensation movements, and very close tolerance. If you pick up any "el chipo" quartz watch, will be off beat by at lease 15 seconds by the end of each month. On the other hand my Omega is off just about 3 seconds in the last two.
