I faced the same question a few weeks ago and decided to take a personal look at them in the jewelry store.

If you intend to wear it daily, you should definitely see if in the long run the Speedy isn't too bulky for you. The SMP in comparison is amazingly flat and has a completely "bullet-proof" feel to it. Personally, I didn't like the Speedy at all, since it's so bulky and "rattly" and the Speedy Pro's hesalite crystal feels completely Swatch-like. But I'm sure that a lot of gentlemen on this board will strongly disagree with me. :-)
