I have recently received a gift from my wife - 1956 Seamaster cal.490. What an awesome watch!!! It was fully serviced and re-dialed. 46 years later, it still looks terrific! Much better than any new Tag or other Swiss luxury wannabe...:-) Honestly, in my opinion, these vintage seamasters look sharper than their modern counterparts (nothing against the modern design, I simply prefer classic). Reliability is great! Forty-six years and still ticking! Speaks for itself. My Omega keeps great time! It's my first automatic, and I love it. I have more expensive watches, but can't take this one off my wrist...:-)
