It took me 3 times to get my bracelet right. It was done by a store rep at a fine watch watch retailer. I think it depends upon the experience of the person performing the task. Ask the person first, if they know how to do it. Use your judgemnt if they seem confident in doing it. But, please, do not attempt it at home. I know from experience.
