SeMP Chrono accuracy

I recently purchased a used Seamaster pro chrono (3years old) and I am having some accuracy problems.
It runs approx 20 seconds fast per day regardless of how I position it overnight but if I engage the chrono function the accuracy is within 2/3 seconds per day. I have other automatic chronographs and another Omega and have not seen this type of problem.
The watch was at the Lancaster PA service center less than 1 year ago for a problem with the minute counter sticking(took two visits to get it fixed!)I was told that it was "adjusted".
Any thoughts or suggestions (besides leaving the chrono engaged)?
