Re: Omega Ladymatic
In Response To: Omega Ladymatic ()

My wife has one of these, It's a cal 455 with serial number that dates it to 1960, originally retailed in Switzerland as it is marked Turler.
These are very well made watches, she has worn hers constantly and the gold plating is still like new. The balance went recently (after 42 years!)and we were informed that a new part was no longer available but I managed to get a good secondhand one and It's running perfectly again.
Once you have your watch fully serviced you'll get many years of use from it. When you get it serviced ask the watchmaker to write down the serial number from the movement for you then you can find out the year of manufacture.
Cheers,
Neil.
