Re: new watch warranty
In Response To: Re: new watch warranty ()

Well its like this, , I dropped it from about 3 feet onto a carpeted floor and it stopped dead! I thought the things could take 2500gs or something. Swatch UK repaired it under warrenty with no questions asked, but it did take several weeks. See my earlier posts in March/April about the delay.

I suppose it is possible that because it was so new and could have been sitting in the shop for a while that the lubrication inside was not uniformly distributed, thus leading to less shock resistance but I was still disappointed. Ah well. They did resatinise the clasp for me while it was there.

: Oh, you had to repair your SMP just 3 weeks
: time. I just bought mine about a week ago,
: and it says 2 years warranty.

: What was wrong with you SMP??
