Re: Internet purchase of Seamaster
In Response To: Internet purchase of Seamaster ()

: I'm soooo tempted to purchase an Omega
: Seamaster on the Internet because of the
: huge saving I can make. I have found some
: sellers that say their watches have serial
: numbers, but I'm worried that I'm paying
: almost USD1000 for a fake watch. If the
: seller says the watch has a serial number,
: how sure can I be that it is a genuine
: watch, and not just a fake that also has a
: fake serial number?
: If you have an opinion on buying an Omega from
: an unauthorized, internet seller, with or
: without serial number, then let me know. I'd
: really appreciate it.
: Thanks!
: Ken.

Buy from an authorized dealer for your peace of mind, which is priceless. Search around in this and other omega forum. There are quite a few authorized dealers that will sell you a SMP for less than $1100. Just search around. You will be surprised at what you can find.
