Help - Could it be a Fake?

Hi there, I need some advice. I've seen a Bond type Seamaster that I'm interested in buying. I posted a message refering the the Warranty card earlier today but I have another question.

I've looked at the watch and I'm 95% sure that it's the genuine thing. The remaining 5% is in many ways self doubt that I may have missed something in my relative ignorance.

My second question refers to the packaging. The watch comes with it's white outer box (cardboard I think). Inside this is the red Omega display box. Inside the display box are the two instruction booklets (Each written in a few different languages. The booklets are printed on a semi gloss paper (i.e not standard A4 paper) and are a little bigger than a credit card). Attached to the red display box is a little plastic tag (no bigger than an elliptical cent - not sure as I'm not American) which contains details of the model number, the serial number (which matches that on the back of the watch) the movement 1120, a few other symbols and 300. Inside the box are two links from the bracelet.

The International Warranty card is found in a small grey wallet (about the same size as a credit card). It contains the Omega hologram but is otherwise blank in the white strips. The only thing on the card is a shops stamp showing the original purchase date about 4 years ago...is it normal to have a blank warranty card?

The watch does not come with the chronometer certificate which is a little strange given everything else seems so complete. Is this cause for concern?

Has anyone heard of any great fakes going to this extent. I'm living in Japan - Asia is meant to be the home of most fakes. Is this possible with all this.

I would really appreciate some help/advice on this.

PS - what are people views on buying a 4 year old watch? - good idea, bad idea???
