: I was experimenting with different resting
: positions with my 2054.50, I was searching
: for a position to speed the watch up. I had
: left my watch for 9 hours inthe 6 up
: position and thought i found a winner: it
: advanced 1.5 sec. in that 9 hours...Great.
: So i figgered if I left it for another 9
: hours, i would be 3 secs faster...wrong! it
: actually lost a second. is that usual
: behavior that a position can lose and gain
: time with the SAME position?

Do not draw conclusions from any ONE positioning trial. Give that "6-up" position several (8 or so) trials and then decide from there. I made a great excel spreadsheet that will let you track all these results with ease, then you won't be "guessing" at which position gives which results. I'f you'd like me to send excel attachment, just email me.
Good Luck
