Or set it right when you change the date...

What I normally do with my SMP Auto that gains 1.5 sec everyday is:
When its time to change the date (i.e. on the 1st day of a new month, after a 30 day month - eg 1st Dec) I pull the crown to the 3rd position and stop the seconds hands for 90 secs(i.e. 60 days x 1.5 secs per day)then close the stem. Voila - its all good again... and it doesn't bother me that after another 60 days i will be 90 secs fast again bcos I can reset the secs again becos I need to push forward the date anyway!
