NEED YOUR HELP!

Gentlemen:
I need your wisdom immediately. I received an Omega SMP 2254.50 a few months ago as an engagement gift, purchased from Yaeger Watch in NYC--note:I got one with serial numbers. Within a few weeks, it stopped (I was wearing it everyday). Yaeger gave me a new 2254.50, and within 3 weeks the new one was running very irregularly. The watch has been sent to Omega for repair, and I am told I will have to wait 4-8 weeks to get it back. What do I do? Yaeger will not give me money back, so I can either hope my watch works this time, or do I sell it on EBay and either get a new one from a different retailer, or maybe even, dare I say it, get a Breitling? Please help me with this mini-nightmare.
