: If you will base it on my watch experience, your Omega can last a long time. I use as a daily wear watch an Omega my dad handed down to me. It's an Omega Seamaster
Calendar. A check with the Omega records showed this particular watch was made in 1955. I had it serviced only two months ago. My dad in all those years he had it may have serviced it only twice. The watch surprisingly keeps good time despite its age. Not bad for a timepiece that is pushing 50. So I wear a watch that is several years my senior under circumstances no different from the ones i subject my 3 year old SM 120.

If that is any indication, you have a watch you can use and enjoy for many years to come. Wear it well.
