Authorized or Grey Market? *LINK*

I have worn my Rolex Submariner for over 10 years, but I have wanted to pick up a SMP 2531.80 since Tommorow Never Dies was in theatres. I finally made the decision to get one for Christmas, but I can't decide if its worh paying the premium to buy it at an authorized dealer. Dealers here in my area(Chicago) will go to about $1300 without tax, but I can do significantly better online. I would save the tax, but have to pick up the shipping. If I did go for an online purchase, does anybody know of dealings with Bernard Watch or others? They seem to be pretty straight with their offerings, and they accept cc's without a premium charge.
