Re: Seamaster or Aquaterra?

: I've been thinking about the Seamaster for the
: past few months. Originally, I only liked
: the Seamaster, now I'm wondering if the
: Aquaterra would suit me better. Anyone have
: any opinion as to which watch I should get?
: But if you don't have an opinion, how would
: you go about deciding? Thank you.

We're in the same boat. Mine's just been 'afloat a little longer. I originally wanted to buy the seamaster until I tried one on. My other Omega's are vintage wind ups that tend to be lighter and more elegant. I wanted one I could work
(electrician) play, and most of all, shower or wash without taking it off and 'leaving it in the wash room. So, I went to the local(40 miles) Omega dealer and checked out what they had. On my request, they had another store in their system send in a "DeVille Automatic Escapement" but it too, was too thick and heavy for me. I also requested to see the "DeVille Prestige" which I'm pretty much setteled on. The others were really nice but just too much watch for my 6.75" wrist. Now, my only delema is what to get; a steel bracelet or a leather strap.
