The ONLY difference is the Bracelet
In Response To: Seamaster Pro model # ? ()

The 2054.50.00 has the older style "Bond" bracelet which has more sections accross. The 2254.50.00 has the Newer style "Speedy" bracelet which is the same design of the Speedmaster Pro, aside from the endlinks and the clasp. The "Speedy" style bracelet tappers from 20mm at the case to 18mm at the clasp. The "Bond" bracelet is 20mm and does not tapper.

Model 2254.50.00 is technically not available from US Aurhorized Dealers. The US Model number is 2054.50.00. The difference being the non-US models have the new “Speedy” style bracelet, while the US version retains the older “Bond” style bracelet. Both are comparable in quality and construction with the edge going a tad to the “Bond” style. If you need the newer style bracelet, it’s possible for an authorized Dealer to swap the bracelet before he delivers it to you. He orders a replacement bracelet for model 2230.50.00, the only model currently with that bracelet sold in the US.My Dealer does this with the caviat that he must be able to maintain a balance of bracelet styles in stock. He doesn’t want to end up with a bunch of one style bracelet he has a hard time selling.
