DETAILS ON THE FAKE DEVILLE COAX SKELETON...
In Response To: My favorite knock off is... ()

: ...the aledged DeVille Coax Skeleton recently on eBay. Looks
: kinda neat, but looks nothing like any real Omega model.

The scary part is that it looks good enough (at least in these photos) that someone might believe it was a real Omega. Since it is nothing like a real model, there is no basis of comparison to say 'they got that wrong.'

It has a DeVille case, Constellation 95 bezel, Speedmaster display back. The strap has something making it look like a deployant buckle. Also, it actually appears to be a skeletonized movement -- though some of the ornamental detail is painted on the inside if the dial.

The one big mistake they made (besides this not matching any real model) is that Omega would NOT have made such a watch without the Omega logo and name on the dial!
