Demise of "Q"

As this is a Sea Pro forum, and, of course, we all know that James Bond wears one, I thought it appropriate to inform all of you of the death of actor Desmond LLewelyn - aka "Q". At the age of 85, he was killed in an auto accident in Europe over the last day or two. The character Q was always responsible for supplying Bond with the latest gadgets for espionage. Including the Seamasters with the laser, remote bomb detonation device and, in TWINE the escape cable to save Bond from peril. Just thought it would be of interest to this group as Mr Llewelyn always played the part with equal believibility and cantancorousness. I know that I've enjoyed seeing the newest high-tech equipment and especially the Seamaster Pros that "Q" had always offered to Bond for his approval, and usually, destruction!

Best regards, Eric P. Kuck
