Congratulations! Sounds like a neat watch!

The word 'waterproof' helps date the watch. I believe it was right near the beginning of the 1970's that they had to stop using that term and go to using 'water resistant' instead. So your watch may be early 1970's or possibly from the 1960's.

Otherwise, it is very hard to tell which Omega watch you have as the rest of your description sounds like any of hundreds of different models Omega has made.
