Derek, old lug bracelet end pieces available??

Derek,

I have a question regarding Bond Seamaster lug bracelet end pieces. I bought a new Seamaster about 1.5 months ago. My brother has an older Bond Seamaster. Believe it or not, I think the redesign of the lug end pieces on my SMP snag my arm hair. When I wear my brother's SMP, my arm hair is fine. What's wrong. They are both adjusted the same way. Both are identical. Except... the difference I do notice is the pieces that connect the bracelet and case. If you look underneath, the newer SMP's have a groove on each and where the pin enters the watch case. My brother's SMP doesn't have this groove. It is solid or flat until you reach the end of the pin. Do you have any idea what I am talking about? Maybe I need so send pictures? Could my arm get snagged in the grooves, then get caught up in something else? this is the only difference I can detect visually. I thought about calling the service center in Lancaster to see if the older piece is available. What do you think?

Thanks,
Brent
