: What should I do? I wont like to
: go to my local authorized omega dealer to
: purchase one because maybe they might
: critisize my age and convince my parents not
: letting me buy it.

First off, act like an adult when dealing with them. If you walk in and act like a scared child that is afraid mommy is going to walk in and spank him at any moment -- you sure won't be able to get any respect. Never apologize for your age. Always behave like you are in control, know what you are doing, and have the full support of your family.

Next, finish saving up enough money.

Then, print out the page from Ashford.com showing the watch you want. Take it to the authorized dealer. Tell them you are prepared to buy this watch. This is their competition. Ask them what they will do to win your business.

If they make you an acceptable offer, take it. If they do not make an offer that encourages you to buy from them, then you have your answer.
