Soap of most any kind is a bad idea, though liquid soap is not as bad as bar soap. They are all somewhat abrasive and if they get down in the links slowly wear away the joints.

Frankly, just stick with the toothbrush and cold water. That should do all you need!

Email the full serial number to watch@omega.ch and they can tell you exactly when it was made.
