Seamaster sizing, Derek/ zOwie help?

Hello zOwie,

It's not what you think, I did not try to do it myself. I brought it to Birks, they sized it yesterday and it was a little tight, I thought it would be o.k. but when I got home and warmed-up it was a little too tight.

Today I went back and the added a link, now it's too big, but I can live with it (I'd rather not). I asked the service clerk if they could take out that half-link at the clasp (see below), and she said that it was crutial to the clasp. I do not think that she is right.

What do you guys think?

Any help would be appreciated?

Warm regards,

Marc
